Frequently Asked Questions
Are all features included in the pricing?
Yes. All platform functions are included.
This includes the ability to create internal employees and external users, upload documents at participant or project level, associate related organizations and caregivers, and use the platform in alignment with EHDS and GDPR compliance requirements.
What happens when a project becomes inactive?
When a project becomes inactive, participants no longer have access to the Medtora platform. The company retains limited access to personal data and associated materials in its role as data controller, in order to meet ongoing GDPR and EHDS compliance obligations.
This responsibility applies before, during and after processing, including secure storage for up to five years after the original purpose has ceased, unless other applicable regulations, such as MDR, GCP or EHDS, require longer retention periods or additional documentation and data security measures.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes. A one-time setup fee applies and is paid once per company.
After the setup fee has been paid, the company can create and manage an unlimited number of projects on the platform.
Each project is billed separately based on its status as either an active or inactive project.
How is billing handled?
Invoicing is handled directly by Medtora via standard invoicing and is issued either with immediate payment or with an 8-day payment term.
When a company creates a project, the project is initially placed in an awaiting payment status. Once payment has been received, the project is activated and can be used on the platform.
Billing for active and inactive projects is invoiced annually. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further details.
Is pricing per project or per user?
Pricing is per project, not per user.
There are no limits on the number of users, participants or roles within a project. Each project is billed based on its status as either active or inactive.
